In Malihabad area, at the heart of Lucknow city, Madhav Udyan was founded by a visionary horticulturist Raja Kunwar Bhupendra Singh. As a leading figure in mango cultivation, he set up most famous mango plantations in this region. His contributions are still felt today after his ambition was realized; during 1975-1985, he caused this family agricultural history to be written etching an era that will never be forgotten.
